TomoScope® XL NC

Industrial computed tomography (CT) for measurements of extremely large workpieces

Benefits

Due to a tube voltage of 450 kV, the TomoScope® XL NC is also suitable for measurement and inspection tasks on massive, large workpieces. To extend the range of applications, a second X-ray source can be used in automatic changeover in this multi-sensor coordinate measuring machine with X-ray tomography (CT), for example, to additionally measure small components with the highest resolution. Areas of application include 3D measurements of castings (engine blocks, cylinder heads) and ceramic workpieces.

Corresponds, e.g. in combination with a walk-in radiation protection room (option), in design and construction to full protection devices according to the X-ray ordinance
Due to the accuracies achievable with a subvoxeling process and the high density of measuring points, this technique is also ideally suited for the correction of tools for injection moulding
A workpiece changing system can be integrated and the computed tomography coordinate measuring machine can also be used continuously and automatically overnight and at weekends
Standard-compliant calibration according to VDI 2617 for reliable and traceable measurement results, optionally with DAkkS certificate
