Industrial computed tomography (CT) for measurements of large workpieces

Benefits

The highest accuracy in its machine class and compact external dimensions characterise the Werth TomoScope® S. The machine is available in three designs with measuring volumes adapted to the task at hand. With the large measuring range and high tube voltages, even large objects can be measured. The available X-ray tubes with transmission target offer a very small focal spot even with high tube power and therefore maximum resolution with high measuring speed, even with uncooperative workpieces. Areas of application include high-density workpieces (aluminum, steel, titanium, elastomers, hybrid plastics (e.g. glass fibre reinforced), ceramics, multi-materials (e.g. connectors), assemblies).

Due to the accuracies achievable with sub-voxeling and the high density of measuring points, this technique is also ideally suited for the correction of tools for injection moulding
All TomoScope® machines correspond in design and construction to full protection devices according to the Radiation Protection Ordinance
A workpiece changing system can be integrated into the machine housing and the computed tomography coordinate measuring machine can be used continuously and automatically, even overnight and at weekends
