Compared to running gears, plug connections generally have small modules and large tooth widths. Pitch, circular run-out radial, 2-ball dimension and the tooth trace are measured. With tolerances of 20 µm to 50 µm, the requirements for measurement uncertainty are in the medium range. In general, no special features are required for the measuring time.
