Due to the manufacturing process, the workpieces often have demoulding bevels. There are usually high demands on dimensional accuracy and also on strength, which can be strongly influenced by voids, for example. The most important geometrical characteristics are positions, diameters, distances and flatness of the sealing surfaces. With tolerances of 20 µm to 100 µm, the requirements for measurement uncertainty are in the medium range. The same applies to the measuring time.
